Boogie & Swing Dance Camp History

Every year in spring the North Rhine-Westphalia Rock ‘n’ Roll Association (NWRRV) organizes the “Boogie & Swing Dance Camp” (formerly known as the “Boogie & Swing Seminar”).
From 2005 to 2010 the Dance Camp took place in Dortmund. Since 2013 it has been held in cooperation with the “Quibbles” of the Tanzsportgemeinschaft Niederrhein e.V. in Xanten.
In the past years, about 50-70 couples participated in the dance camp at different levels. We have already had participating couples from almost all German states, from the nearby border areas of Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as couples or individuals from Austria, Switzerland, France, and Russia.
The couples are typically trained by a national and international team of 3-5 coaches. In the past years, we have been able to rely on the following great trainer/instructor couples:

Unfortunately the Dance Camp could not take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unfortunately the usual Dance Camp premises in the city of Xanten were not available to us in 2022 and 2023.
