Andrea and Michael (Instagram: @dieschruenthers) have been dancing together for what feels like an eternity and have been part of the training team for our Dance Camp for many years. The couples who participate in their lessons rave about them as “feeling dancers” because they primarily convey the joy of life and fun of Boogie-Woogie or Boogie music and how to implement this in dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Schr\u00fcnthers” (as they are also called in the national Boogie scene) were members of the German national Boogie-Woogie team for many years – initially in the Main Class, later also in the Senior Class. As a competition couple, they won the title of NRW national champion multiple times and also became North German champions. Andrea won the European Championship in the Main Class with her previous dance partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the two are focusing on “exploring” all the things you can do with swing dancing. They always manage to delight their viewers, especially in their shows and performances, because here the two of them like to let off steam in a particularly funny way, or enchant the audience with a very calm and “smooth” performance, which can also be quite far from a classic Boogie-Woogie show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carla and Nino (Instagram: @car_ninchen) have been a dancing couple since two years and third-placed finishers at the German Championship 2024. As part of the German national team Boogie-Woogie, they also compete at international competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With their casual and funny way, they teach at several dance camps and festivals \u2013 not only in Germany, for example at the Boogie B\u00e4ren Dance Camp (BBDC) two years in a row or as the first Boogie dancecouple at the Berlin Dance Festival in 2024, but also international as teachers at the Boogie Feet\u2019s Festival in Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the motto “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing,” music comes first for both. When Carla sings with her band “Carla and the great balls on fire” (CATGBOF), Nino is not far away. Feeling the music together means dancing to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamara Singer & Christoph Pecher <\/strong>(Germany)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the age of 11, Christoph discovered his passion for dancing and soon began to compete successfully in competitions. He became German Champion in Junior and Main Class and has also trained some Junior World Champions. Furthermore, since 2017, he is the first chairman of his own Dance club: The Boogieschmiede<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamara (“Tamy”) discovered her love for swing dances and the music of the 1950s a bit later and by pure chance. She has already participated in several competitions and has been teaching for several years at the Boogie B\u00e4ren<\/a> and the Vintage Club<\/a> Munich. In addition to Boogie-Woogie, she also teaches Solo Jazz\/Charleston and is part of the solo swing duo “Fine allein”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both (Instagram: @tamychristoph) are not only interested in Boogie-Woogie, but also enjoy combining elements from different swing dances. Music interpretation, passion and creativity in dancing are the top priorities for both of them. Tamara and Christoph are dancing competitions in Boogie-Woogie Main Class and were able to win 1st place in the German Boogie-Woogie Championship in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
